Following previous winter clothing drives, ACERO has forwarded two further shipments of clothing which have now reached Dohuk.
To date, ACERO has distributed a total of 1000 kilograms of winter clothing in Northern Iraq including in Dohuk, Diana, Babilo, Kani Balavi and Semele.
ACERO and the Assyrian community in the UK have been pivotal to the success of this campaign, organizing the collection, sorting, packing and shipping of the clothing to Iraq. In particular, our appreciation goes to Henry and Sharlet Karam for once again opening up their home as a donation centre for new and gently-used clothes. Immense thanks also goes to the Assyrian Society of the United Kingdom (ASUK) for holding a clothing drive and contributing towards the shipping of the boxes to Dohuk.
ACERO thanks the Assyrian community in England, United Kingdom who have worked tirelessly to support displaced Christians affected by ongoing conflict in Northern Iraq.
