Our sincerest thanks go to our long time partners and supporters at Barnabas Fund for the completion of their sponsored food and aid programme in Baghdad. For the last few months, as we have reported, distributions have taken place in the capital, across four Assyrian Church of the East Parishes; Mar Gewargis Church, Dora, Mart Mariam, Mar Mari and Mar Odisho Churches in Baghdad.

The third phase of the programme was completed during Easter and the weeks that followed, culminating in what was one of the largest distributions ACERO has undertaken in Baghdad with food parcels and aid reaching a staggering 650 families.

We would like to thank the team on the ground, comprised of our Baghdad chapter committee, parish priests; namely the very Rev’d Cor-bishop Awgin Hurmiz and volunteers who gave their time to help with the distribution of food parcels.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Barnabas Fund for this sponsored programme. For over a decade they have championed our work, supported our projects and have made many of our largest projects possible. Thanks to all our donors who have helped us reach thousands of vulnerable people who need our help across the Middle East.
