During March and April, ACERO conducted a massive aid program for Assyrian Christians living in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad.

Financial and material aid was provided to families registered with ACERO’s Baghdad Chapter. In particular, aid was distributed to faithful of Assyrian churches in Baghdad and residents of the Camp Al-Gailani Elderly Home. Furthermore, assistance was provided to support the educational endeavours of Assyrian students attending colleges and universities in the capital.

This has been one of ACERO’s largest campaigns in Baghdad. As always, we are greatful to all donors whose generosity is making a real impact on the lives of Assyrians in the Middle East.

Please note; we have intentionally limited the photos we are sharing on this occasion in light of both the security situation in Baghdad and to maintain the privacy of those we are supporting.
