During their Sunday meetings (on the 24th and 31st of August) the Pentecostal Church in Swidwin, Poland collected money for persecuted Christians in Iraq and Syria.

During their Sunday meeting prayers were offered to God on behalf of Iraq and in particular, Assyrians. Also, historical events were discussed and a sermon concerning persecution for Christ was given.

After the meeting a petition to ONZ, the Arab League, Polish and European politicians and their Church Authorities was signed by the members, requesting assistance to stop the situation in Iraq.

Reverend Adam Ciucka said, “I want to declare it’s an honour to support you (ACERO). We pray about all afflicted and refugees. We hope that our Heavenly Father will open the eyes of the fanatical Islamists and this big horror will finish one day.”

May Almighty God shower His blessings upon Reverend Ciucka and the faithful of this church for their deep sympathy and concern.
