ACERO has implemented a major relief campaign for displaced Assyrians currently living in the church hall at St George Church in Dohuk on 2 September 2014.

The program involved the distribution of food packages comprised of staple foodstuffs.

Aid was distributed to Christians displaced from Mosul and the Nineveh Plains in the presence of ACERO’s Dohuk Chapter Chairperson Odisho Dawood and ACERO Secretary Andy Darmoo (visiting from ACERO Headquarters in the UK).

ACERO is proud to be amongst the most active non-governmental agencies working to support Iraq’s Christians and minority groups through its ‘Mosul Appeal’.

It is noteworthy that ACERO distributes aid without regard to the denominational, linguistic or political backgrounds of those it helps.
